- In a large pan, heat the cooking oil. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, green cardamom pods, and bay leaf. Sauté until aromatic.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the remaining garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add pureed tomatoes, ground coriander, and green chilies. Cook until the oil separates.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until it changes color.
- Add garam masala and salt. Mix well.
- Cover and simmer until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
